Congratulations Josephine!
We are delighted to share with you the incredible recognition Josephine has received following her successful completion of the Practice Managers Course. The Louisa Fraser Memorial Award is presented to the most outstanding candidate on the course.
Josephine started the course with 20 other practice managers at the end of 2019 but due to Covid, the majority of the programme had to delivered remotely. Josephine said “I thoroughly enjoyed the course but it was challenging studying and producing course work whilst still working full time in a busy job.”
To complete the course, Josephine had to pass assessments at the end of each of the five modules. About the final presentations she said “I found the presentations I had to produce to evidence my learning interesting but also quite scary as presentations are not my thing but having this qualification helps me to do my best for the team and the practice”.
And if you are wondering about the history of the Quaich, Louisa Fraser was a senior tutor in Inverness College who was involved in the writing of the course and the SQA approval process to get the qualification nationally recognised.
